Saving Time with Metadata Snippets
If you find yourself retyping the same hashtags, bio links, or disclaimers for every post, Metadata Snippets are for you. Snippets allow you to save reusable blocks of text and inject them into your titles or descriptions with a single click.
How it Works
- Create a Snippet: Go to Settings > Snippets in your dashboard.
- Save Your Text: Give your snippet a label (e.g., "Standard Hashtags" or "Bio Link") and enter the text you want to reuse.
- Inject While Drafting: When you are uploading a new video in the Media tab, click the Snippet Icon (or "Insert Snippet" button) next to the title or description field.
- Select & Insert: Choose your snippet from the list, and it will be instantly appended to your text.
Popular Use Cases
- Hashtag Clouds: Save different sets of viral hashtags for specific niches (e.g., #cooking, #tech, #travel).
- Call to Actions: "Click the link in my bio for the full recipe!"
- Disclosures: Add mandatory ad disclosures or affiliate links consistently.
- Social Handles: Quickly add your @handles for other platforms.
Pro Tip: Placeholders
You can use snippets anywhere in your text. If you want to insert a snippet in the middle of a sentence, simply place your cursor where you want it before clicking the insert button.
