Publishing Your First Video

Ready to start publishing? Directly Social makes it easy to manage your videos and push them to all your social channels with a single click.

Step 1: Upload to Your Vault

1. Navigate to the Media tab.
2. Click Upload Video (or drag and drop your file).
3. Your video will be securely uploaded directly to your storage vault (local or cloud).

Step 2: Vibe Sync (AI Captions)

1. Once uploaded, click on the video to open the Metadata Editor.
2. Enter your "Core Concept" or a rough draft of your caption.
3. Use the Vibe Sync button to instantly generate platform-specific versions of your caption.

   • Example: A professional tone for YouTube, but a fast-paced, high-energy tone for TikTok.
4. Save your metadata.

Step 3: Distribution & Scheduling

1. In the video details view, select the platforms you want to publish to (TikTok, YouTube, IG, FB).
2. Choose your publishing mode:

   • Publish Now: Sends the video immediately.
   • Schedule: Choose a future date and time from the calendar.
3. Click Distribute.

Step 4: Tracking Success

1. Go to the Activity tab to see the real-time status of your posts.
2. Once a post is "Published," you can view its permalink directly or check the analytics to see how it's performing.

Pro Tip: Use Metadata Snippets in Settings to save your most common hashtags and disclaimers, so you never have to type them again!
